Crawler cranes also known as caterpillar lattice boom cranes are the largest cranes. The XCMG cranes have been created on the technological base of such companies as LIEBHERR and KATO. Because of their size, caterpillar lattice boom cranes must be transported on trucks and assembled on the worksite, and, as a rule, they are operated for long periods of time. These massive cranes have load capacities from 50 to 300 tons and can reach a height of 156 meters with a large handling radius. Such cranes have a low transport height on a caterpillar chassis and can be operated on sites with the most unfavorable conditions, which makes them ideal for turn-key projects.
